Centre for Commercial and Corporate Law
About the Centre
The Centre was established by Professor John Farrar and a group of law teachers at the University of Canterbury in 1988.
The purpose of the Centre is to act as a forum for the exchange of information, views and expertise relating to corporate and commercial law through lectures, seminars and publications. As such the Centre aims to bridge the gap between academic lawyers, practitioners in law and accountancy and those working in finance and industry.
The administration of the Centre is based at the School of Law under a Board of Management consisting of academics and representatives from the legal and accounting professions.
Enquiries regarding the Centre may be directed to Andrew Maples.
